Junior Amalie Kreitman made nine saves in goal for Arcadia while her team out-shot the Warriors (1-2, 1-0 MAC) 34-25. Just 13 seconds later, freshman Ashley Landis sealed the win with a free-position goal. With 33 seconds left and down by a goal, Gargiulo took a charge, then drove the length of the field and fired the game-tying goal. With 2:41 left, the Knights got the ball on a groundball and held possession for the next two minutes, and when they felt it was time, Patel took it into goal with a minute showing on the clock but it was saved by junior keeper Kristina Maurer. Patel and Fallon would finish with three scores apiece by game's end to help the Knight's effort. With goals from sophomore Meghan Fallon and senior Kreena Patel, the Knights tied it up before Holguin scored her fourth goal with 3:08 left giving Arcadia the 11-10 lead. The comeback began after the Warriors took a 10-8 lead with 12:16 left.
Junior Stephanie Holguin caught fire late in the second half, scoring three of her team high 4 goals including the Knights go-ahead marker with 3:08 to play in the game. The teams each traded two goals before the halfway point of the period, before Arcadia made its second half comeback. In the second half, Gargiulo helped the Warriors take a three-goal lead just 2:30 minutes in. Warrior junior Grace Gargiulo scored four of her game high eight strikes in the first half, including two in a span of 20 seconds with 2:34 left to give the Warriors a 6-4 lead at halftime. But a costly turnover and foul for Arcadia, led to two quick goals for Lycoming, one to tie and the other as the game winner to steal today's early season league match up 12-11 over Arcadia (1-2, 0-2 MAC).
The Knights transformed a three-goal deficit with 15 minutes remaining to a one goal lead with three minutes to go. The Knights held three, one goal leads throughout the game and when the Warriors went up three midway through the second half, Arcadia turned it on again. With a steady attack that led to Arcadia out-shooting the Warriors 34-25 both teams remained on their respective heels during four lead changes and six deadlocks.
